Diamonds on the Red Carpet - 55th Filmfare awards 2010

Last week, on the Filmfare awards night, we had our eyes peeled for who was wearing what jewellery. This year, the trend was towards minimalism - we rarely saw co-ordinated sets or large necklaces. However, large, chunky earrings were in, with almost everyone sporting eye-catching drops such as these:

Genelia Dsouza's earrings were unique and arresting, composed of what appear to be diamonds, onyx and a pearl:

We also loved Celina Jaitley's dazzling drops - they seem to be pave diamonds set in a beautiful, large, teardrop shape:
